I have read “The Shack” 3 time. The first time I was so totally involved in the the tragdy of the story and because we had just spent our vacation in that area. But I had a deep feeling that there was much more. So I read it again and began to see what the author was getting at. It is a terrific call to a close relationship with our God. It speaks of what is really important to God. It’s portrayal is unusual, but if you think about it, there are real reasons for the authors choice of characters and circumstances. I found when a idea was repeated over and over, that was a clue to look deeper.
Now when I read my Bible, I come across passages and exclaim: “That’s exactly what Young was getting at. A very good book. A book that drives you to think deeply about God and appreciate his Great Love.

I think the blue stands out much more than the burgundy. Mainly because there is a lot more white with the burgundy. Just my opinion……I also find the blue more eye catching.

The blue makes me think of a really super traditional church that I attend as a child. It is a safe color. You need to be BOLD. Go Burgundy. Or maybe it is just the simple fact that Garnet is my birthstone and I tend to lean toward jewel tones. IDK…amy

Congrats to both of you! It’s wonderful that Amy got on with the boys school as a para pro. I’ve never heard of para pro before…maybe it’s a term used in Georgia, or maybe I’m just out of the public school loop! Hopefully you can post a blog soon that tells how you’re both progressing in your new areas.
