There were a few issues early on, about 10 minutes in the sound gets better.

Today’s service was great.  A few technical difficulties, but a great time of worship and a challenging message.  A couple of funny things happened.  We’re finishing rehearsals 30 minutes before service and making sure everything is in place.  In comes Josiah saying his brother is screaming his head off and is hurt.  When Amy and I got out in the hallway, we see John-David.  He is screaming his head off and crying.  While out on the playground, he got stung 3 times by a wasp.  This was the first time John-David had ever been stung, so we were naturally concerned.  After treating the stings, he was fine, no worries.  I was going to take a picture, but you can barely even see them anymore.

In the middle of the service, during children’s moment, I look over and Josiah has his plastic handcuffs out and has himself and one of the other boys in them.  That was fun, be sure to check out the church’s video to see the removal of these lovely things.

I love

when you catch up with friends you haven’t talked to in a long time.  It’s great to be able to reconnect with people who you were once close with or closer than you are now.

I’m pysched about church tomorrow, should be a great day of worship.  I’m looking forward to it.

almost cried tonight

I had a friend who did something I watched tonight that touched me big time.  You know who you are.  Its good to see somebody truely worshipping God, makes you warm and fuzzy inside.  I know how it feels to be liberated and free when truely worshipping as this person did.  So, thanks buddy for helping me worship tonight.

ARGHHHHHH

I have lost my love for Google’s video program.  Although its free and in the past has worked well, recently it has been flawed beyond all measure.  I told a friend I think its time for a tearful goodbye, so thanks for the memories, I’m off to search for something better.

I’ll have the video from the service up later.  We got to take the boys swimming today this afternoon, they had a blast, now its time to just chill out a little.  Sunday’s are great, the only real full day we have together as a family with all of us here.

daddy day

Today is Wednesday, which means its daddy day, the boys have me all to their selves.  Got to actually eat lunch with momma today too though.  Too hot today, in the high 90’s to do much outside, but we’ve been having a good time.  We may head to the pool in a little bit, but today is a day to relax and just chill.  Josiah and I will probably play Kung Fu Panda on the computer again.  We have just the demo, but it sure is a fun game. We’re trying to find things to do that we all enjoy to have fun together.  Tough in GA to do it outside a lot, really hot and lots of mosquitos.  Daddy doesn’t have to shave, woohoo, and we just hang out.  Fun being a dad on days like this.
