I’ve been thinking a lot about my two boys. First off, I feel weird that I’m old enough to have a 7 year old and a 5 year old, but they’re great kids. Its funny the times that I look at them and think this is exactly what my mom and dad dealt with with my brother and I. They squabble and fight just like Nate and I did. But again, they’re great kids. Its so cool to see the different personalities they have. I took Josiah to see Prince Caspian last weekend and he loved it. John-David can’t sit still in the movies. Each time we’ve taken him, we’ve said it would be the last for a long time. John-David will sit there and color or write and Josiah would rather read or play on the computer. I know some of the differences are just developmental as far as their ages. I’m so proud of Josiah, he’s making healthy choices with food and has lost 10 pounds. He’s very happy about that. According to Josiah’s testing in school, he was one of the brightest kids in 1st grade (didn’t need testing to show that). John-David is gearing up for kindergarten next year and is extremely excited about it.
The thing I love most about my kids though is that they have a hunger for the things of God. They are already learning what it means to worship. My kids are the best. The pics below were some silly pictures we took a few months back.

Jason, You’re already at the point where you’re thinking, “Now I know what my parents went through with two boys!” Do you ever remember me saying, “Just wait until you have kids!”? Even great kids can drive you crazy on occasion. I know….we had two of them! Love, Mom
