I have done all of the tweaks in the first article and have downloaded most of the apps. I especially like the video player in the first article. Please feel free to share anything you’ve found useful as well.
Can’t touch this Apple.
Got my new touchpad a few days ago. My thoughts on it are as follows. You can not find another tablet computer anywhere else for this price. We paid $99.00 for it on bestbuy.com. I would love to be able go afford a iPad but who has $500.00 they can drop on one. And playing around with the touchpad I’m not sure if I would get more from the iPad anyways. Don’t get me wrong, I love my ipod. But I find the apps which sparse as they are to be awesome on the touchpad.
Especially cool are the facebook and email apps as well this WordPress one. I’ve already linked it to our media computer and can watch movies stored on it on the local network or anywhere I’m at.
Ive already jailbroken the touchpad and done a few tweaks to get it up and running a little bit quicker. So for me it really is all about price. I have a beast of a tablet and paid 1/5 the price of an iPad.
On a side note, we sold our extra HP touchpad for 230.00 on ebay where they are a hot commodity right now.
